Travelling to Walsall by Train can be done via Birmingham New Street Station* (BHM) where there are regular services (four per hour) to and from Walsall (reduced service on Sundays) on what is known as the Walsall Line which runs from Birmingham New Street to Duddeston, Aston, Witton, Perry Barr, Hamstead, Stone Cross, Bescot (for Bescot Stadium home of Walsall FC) and Walsall Station.

There is a limited Train Service that runs directly from Walsall Station to Wolverhampton Station (WVH).

* Birmingham New Street is located in Birmingham City Centre and is the main railway station serving Birmingham, England. An important central hub for the British Railway System Birmingham New Street Station is served by a number of important long-distance and cross-country lines, including the Birmingham loop of the West Coast Main Line.

The core of the West Coast Main Line runs between London Euston and Glasgow Central with major stations at Watford Junction, Milton Keynes, Rugby, Nuneaton, Stafford, Crewe, Warrington, Wigan, Preston, Lancaster, Oxenholme, Penrith, Carlisle and Motherwell.

From Birmingham New Street routes off the West Coast Main Line allow services to the major towns and cities of Northampton, Coventry, Birmingham International, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Macclesfield, Stockport, Manchester Picadilly, Runcorn and Liverpool Lime Street.

It is possible to get to Birmingham New Street from Londons Marylebone Station, although this involves a change at Birmingham Moor Street Station and an approximate 20 minute walk to Birmingham New Street, it is better to use the more direct route from London Euston.
